I was unaware, during all the years that I have been coming here

She's been going there for years and yet thinks it's supposed to be done in one day, not one month? Did someone elsewhere make a joke about having finished it all in one day that she took seriously or something?

I'm not surprised she is/was an English major. I've met plenty of English majors who couldn't understand what they were reading or communicate worth a damn. I'm also not surprised she WAS a lawyer, past tense. Judges are not known for being understanding of comprehension and communication issues.
