Y haliwr mawr tew!

Everyone is asked to vote for their favorite Welsh heroes.

But something might not be right in the land of sheep and unpronounceable town names. Why, there might be an email campaign to get one person named.

The shock! The horror! There should be an investigation! What if the wrong Welshman is given the honor of being the Greatest Welshman of them all?

To quote from the Assembly Member Leighton Andrews:

"I can understand why people might want to get their friends to vote for a particular hero. It's not a hanging offence - this whole contest is a bit of fun.

"But if people want to get their friends to vote they should do so from their home e-mails. I'm not actually sure that members of organisations promoting the contest should be voting at all."

Politics: Secretly the high school prom committee all over again.
