Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry
Current mood:energetic

<http://www.livejournal.com/community/found_objects>found_objects</a> has a troll. (I say troll because of his icon, and his journal filled with all-caps netspeak... except for a few coherent entries he seems to have accidentally added/left public.)

gunghayfuckyou (check out his oh-so-priceless icon) is new to the community, and appears to be upset, because people are posting pictures of things they own, or otherwise haven't strictly "found." O NOHZ! WHAT CAN WE EVER DO!

First he posts a photo of a couple of people, and is mildly snarky about it. People object to his attitude. His reponse? "I'M A REGULAR COMMUNITY MEMBER.
I'M JUST SICK OF THE CRAP THAT PEOPLE POST HERE.
WHY SHOULD I LET OTHERS HAVE THE RETARDED FUN OF POSTING A LAME ASS POST LIKE:
"LOOK WHAT I FOUND IN MY BEDROOM!"???"

Next, he posts a bunch of album covers. But it's not as simple as it seems! These album covers were posted earlier, and it seems they've shown up in the community before. gunghayfuckyou doesn't like that! He says: "for fragilefriend. since it was so0o0o0o0o funny the THIRD TIME, why not a fourth?"

Then, finally, he posts a nifty Lego creation... which happens to come along with a little rant.

"I DECIDED I WOULD POST THIS PICTURE HERE SINCE NOBODY GIVES A FLYING FUCK IF THE ITEM IS A TRUE FOUND OBJECT!!

seriously, i joined this community with hopes that it would be like "found" magazine. it's now turning into the community where people clean out their rooms and find some turd of a belonging, they feel compelled to post the damn thing.
shit you own shouldn't count.
shit you find in a shop shouldn't count.
shit you found online doesn't count, but nobody enforces it.

if you FIND something that doesn't belong to you, and is intriguing, isn't just cute or "funny" in the aol LOL ROFFLIES sort of way, and isn't a typo or asian marketing ad, then perhaps you should post it.

this isn't show_and_tell"

My reaction is twofold: "I wasn't aware we had a new mod to tell us what to post! Dumbass." and "I smell troll. Mustn't poke." Mightily resisting jumping in and wanking.

ETA: Since I came over to report five minutes ago, the wank has already begun to emerge in the comments. This is my favorite, and already, right below it, the waaaahmbulance has already been invoked.

This is going to be beautiful. *sits back with popcorn*
