Paisley is Eeevvvvviillll!!!
DemonBusters.com is a website that draws your ATTENTION to important POINTS by repeatedly CAPITALIZING them. Among other things, it tells you which everyday items are actually instruments of Satan. And one of those things is paisley.

Now why would paisley be evil? Because:

  • The pattern traces it's origin to a style of art from heathen India.
  • Said art style was part of a Muslim culture. So, somehow, the art is both Hindu and Muslim at the same time. Gotcha.
  • Said art style was used on Muslim prayer rugs. And obviously, when an art style is used on something non-Christian, this contaminates the whole style.
  • Said style includes commas, which are actually an occult symbol from the Pythagorean mystical system. Which is why we must remove commas from English writing as well! ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Back Satan, back I say!
  • Textile patterns manufactured in the town of Paisley were based on this style, and these patterns became "paisley". Specifically, they were based on scarves from India made from goat hair, and everyone knows that goats are the symbol of Satan!
  • Additionally, the scarves were woven using techniques which were introduced to India via the Jesuits, so those scarves had Catholic cooties!!
Thus, we can clearly see that paisley is Satanic, and you must burn any clothing with this evil pattern. She's wearing paisley! She's a witch! Burn her!!!

Jebus, you just can't make stuff like this up!

It's like reverse psycholog. Only it's not working. Paisley is too tacky. Even if you're wearing it to piss off the psycho demon people.

Holy shit. That's... there are no words for it. That's so beautiful. It also makes me want to send the site maintainer an email something like, "Hello, this is a great site that made of aware of dangers I had nev,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ARGH NO DEMON COMMAS ASH NAZG DURBATULÛK ASH NAZG GIMBATUL SKDHF()(T*$WBNKJFBN )SAD*&FJVDN"

But that would be petty. And probably cliche.

Unfortunately, I don't think they'd get the joke. I doubt they've read The Lord of the Rings. Surprising, since almost everything else is slammed covered by this site.

Probably not. I'm just a big enough dork that Black Speech was the only weird, "speaking in tongues"-sounding thing I could think of off the top of my head.

What about the semi-colon? Can we still use the semi-colon without falling into the Dark Lord's clutches?

So... since I have a blue paisley polyester minidress, and went to Catholic school as a child (thus being introduced to innumerable amounts of cooties by going to Mass twice a week), does this officially make me a minion of Satan Stan?

If you wear it, you may be carrying around some demons, which could be the cause of some of your "problems". The paisley print looks like a giant COMMA (as in English - Dear Sir, (comma).

I've always liked paisley, myself. I must be possessed.

Dear Sir,

MWUHAHAHAHAHA!

If they think commas are satanic, why are they using them on the site?

You know, this would explain a lot about a certain fundie badfic writer I know. Is it also a sin against God to divide your story into paragraphs?

I don't think so. It looks like a genuine "END-TIME DELIVERANCE MINISTRY" evangelical web site. The links on the main page (scroll down) cover all the bases without being satire, and the other ministries page is legit. Zippy says, "Yow."

Using the word 'deliverance' over and over really isn't doing them any favors.

If you can hear the "Oh the Blood of Jesus" midi file, and it gets under your skin, don't turn your speakers off. The demons absolutely hate this song or any song that mentions the Blood of Jesus. The more this bothers you, the more demon infested you are. You actually could get some Deliverance by having this tune play in the background, and some demons may actually leave your home or apartment too. Tape the song and play it in your home over and over.

That cannot be real. It's just....no.

Also, diabetes is apparently a 10-armed squid. Who knew!

I'm thinking about buying a paisley handkerchief now, just so I can say I have a demon in my pocket.

I wonder if I could obtain paisley underwear...
