Offline, historical wank from .cattiness
Dot cattiness once again has a stupid spike due to dakiwiboid's posting and davidkevin replying. Apparently, they both worked at the same hospital for a while and cant stand each other!

Their epic hatred finds an outlet in this post, which has as much fang as a chinchilla.

The opening gambit is dakiwiboid's:

Yes, you certainly are an authority
and everyone should accept your word on how things should be done at the hospital where you are no longer employed. After all, you once tried to have employee badges made for your young children because it would be so CUTE!

Quickly, davidkevin defends s/h/it's honor:

No, but it doesn't surprise me that you would (again) distort the truth.

My then-kindergarten and pre-school aged boys made my elderly female stroke rehab patients feel better with hugs because of their sweet natures, which is a damn sight more than you've ever done in direct patient care.

P. S.: My Nurse Manager had no problem with (obviously not-real) badges labelled "Hug Therapist" for my children, so screw your ignorance.

We even have a third party sighting! It's a symbiot with arms - how did that happen? bbwoof also worked with both of these cretinsshining examples of humanity:

Just to inject some objective truth into this discussion: I am the person who produces employee ID badges at the hospital where you are no longer employed. Your Nurse Manager may or may not have had a problem with such badges; your Nurse Manager did not authorize their production.

I have no idea what truth you believe is being distorted, davidkevin. I do know that your comment about "direct patient care" is rank speculation; you have no idea how many elderly female stroke patients dakiwiboid had hugged, or otherwise cared for. dakiwiboid has done as much support for patient care as you have -- and she is still employed at the hospital.

davidkevin, you have been my friend for over a quarter century. That does not give you the right, in my eyes, to bad-mouth my symbiont. You haven't seen me bad-mouthing your wife or children, have you?

There's much, much more - including a funeral being brought up! - but I would hate to rob you of the joy of finding it out on your own.

Anyone who knows how to archive wank might want to grab this one... it looks like it has a small half-life.

it comforts me to know that a member of the medical profession walks around saying 'screw your ignorance'. so that's the kind of vocab a big, exshpensive edumacation buys you!

He's kinda like the Dot_cattiness equivalent of Not-Bob. The resident community troll.

Look at his LJ, it tends to be even wankier. Especially the whole business accusing the community of being "online bullies" and quoting a Wash Post article-- but the article was talking about *kids*, not full-grown wankers adults.

He is essentially the He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named of dot_cattiness. Every time he is mentioned, every time someone vaguely alludes to him or something which might be him, every time every time which someone thinks about him or has ever thought of him, he shows up and spooges all over the place. Usually he sulks off after calling the resident community members ignorant, bullies, jackals, or some combination thereof.

I encountered him briefly a few weeks ago, and he set off pretty much every online alarm bell I have. His own journal is...yes, it certainly exists, yes. His userinfo page contains a boldface disclaimer and copyright notice in which he forbids quoting or even summarizing anything he ever says on Livejournal.

Oh. Oopsy.

What the hell is a symbiont?

And there better not be snot-nosed kids running amok in any hospital I'm at. I'll scream, literally. At them. Hopefully they'll wet their pants.

Dude, seriously. Especially if they're wearing nametags that say "hug therapist." I'd want a nametag that said "Touch me and I will rend you limb from limb, you little spawn of Satan."

Is it frightening that just from reading his comments and entries on the various occasions on which he's either been wanked, or been on the periphery, I've been thinking "Dude. He's got Asperger's Syndrome. The guy's mildly autistic; this is why he reacts to people in this manner, with these phrasings. Why he tends not to pick up on jokes or social cues."

Checked userinfo just now. He's got Asperger's Syndrome.

Obviously, am in wrong profession. Er, except for the part where no one should let me near their brain with a ten foot pole, much less with a medical license.

That explains a lot.

He's just posted on Metaquotes (LJ version) asking for the moderators. Will it turn into kerfufflage? Only time will tell.

...Now that I think of it, why's someone who doesn't want his journal copied been hanging around on Metaquotes?

I suspect he follows metaquotes and dot_cattiness and their ilk (ie any place where he's seen himself insulted or considers himself to have been insulted) in order to keep his enemies closer than his friends, as it were. Hey, as far as that goes, I don't think the practice itself is all that wanky. It's engaging with people on a community called dot_cattiness and expecting them not to be catty, that's sort of.. not our earth logic.

I am pretty sure that the person whose comment you deleted is one of the moderators. And she addressed your concern.

Deleting her comment -- oh, bad move. That's just gonna piss her off.

Here's the skinny: if your entry was public, nobody needs permission to quote you because you said it in public. ^.^

It wasn't even his comment. It was a comment by someone else that happened to mention him by name.

Really, this deleting comments thing is just bad form. You know there needs to be a list somewhere: "Tactics not to use in a disagreement: an idiots guide to getting people to listen to your opinion"
