Sense of humour? Wassat?
I don't believe this has been posted yet - feel free to bitchslap me if I'm mistaken. Followed a link from my flist on LJ to this post, which offers a rather unique strategy to push the legalization of homosexual marriage:

So, the choice is up to you: Either allow us to marry each other, or we will snatch up the most attractive, available, sexy heterosexuals that we can, leaving you with a much smaller pool of potential partners. If we can’t have our legal rights, we will work within what is currently legal to make your lives much more troublesome and lonely.

Clearly tongue-in-cheek? Rather humorous? Most people seem to think so, but spittle is not impressed. Please, won't somebody think of the lesbians? And the considerate straight men?

dreamattack explains humour to our friend, who is still not impressed, particularily by dreamattack's suggestion that s/he is shitting in the stewpot. Despite valiant peacekeeping attempts by the OP, the wank just keeps spurting, until magic brownies finally manage to diffuse the situation.

Meanwhile, another attempt to stir up trouble goes largely unnoticed because - well - it's just rather lame.

In the end, there's much more praise than wank, but it's still a good time to be had by all.
