tws_support on livejournal is a place for posting 'train wrecks'... a link to something utterly horrible and yet too fascinating to look away from. Past posts include things like weird fetishes, deformed babies, bizarre flash videos, and the ever-popular WONDROUS VULVA PUPPETS™.

So. 'Taxilnecrobane' found a lovely little treatise on the proper way for a good muslim to beat his wife. The link itself is plenty trainwreckish. Taxilnecrobane's commentary on it, however, was... well, see for yourselves:

Well, wank begets wank, so just sit back and observe as the community points out his error... about twenty-five times over. What follows includes:

1) anonymous comments (one of which I rather suspect was Taxil himself)
2) the 'yeah? Yeah? Well, like YOUR religion is any better!' argument
3) mentions of abortion (isn't there a

jurisimprudence law about dragging abortion into an unrelated conversation?)
4) nitpicking taxil's spelling
5) Taxil attempting to defend his manhood
6) accusations of - *gasp* - conservativism!
7) much, much more!

Normally, I don't really have any strong feelings toward Taxil either way, but several times this week I've had to delete blatantly off-topic posts from him (explain to me how the fuck a Japanese robot designed to help rescue people from automobile accidents is a train wreck?)

Figures that the only actual TWSish thing he posted would also be accompanied by the most derogatory and retarded statement ever.

We really need a way to send slaps to the head through e-mail.

well i feel apologies are in order here to you. I was a bit too impulsive about that robot one. At the time i found that article i thought it was fitting, in hind sight it wasn't. (i WAS going to delete that one myself, but you beat me to it)

the other thing i feel i do have to take responsiblity for that inflammatory statement i left with that posting. I admit i have a very hot temper, and after looking at that article set me off. I do have a bad habit of saying things that i regret later when i am angry. (i've cooled off sense that post right now)

i hope you can forgive me, i will try to do better next time.
