Faulty Premise ([info]faultypremise) wrote in [info]otf_wank,

Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry
It is very small, but very wank worthy too.
Once upon a time, there was a group called [info]otakukin over at livejournal. It fell over into the swamp. So up came otakin.

One day, someone posted this comment in reply to the moderator's post: You might want to decide exactly what kind of anime character you are. I mean, if you're going to be insane, at least be consistently so.

This enraged the moderator enough to not only reply with the person's information, but also make a public entry displaying said user's information for all the world to see.

And I quote: "Don't fuck with this new Otakukin group, dipshits. I told you, I can make your life hell if you so much as think about it."

Of course, the commentor replies and is giggling at the whole thing.

Oh those whackedy Otakukin.

Edit: How could I miss this post, it's part of the wank!

"-- On that note, IP tracking is on, so if you're one of the crackpots who sank the original Otakukin (and regularly spam Otherkin) you best shut your pie hole, lest your home activities wind up disincluding the internet and you must return to snail-mailed porn."

Oooh, I'm so scared! What are they going to do, send their astral Gundams to your ISP and tell them your were being mean on the internet? OH SNAP! Better be nice to the crazies now because if you show even the slightest sign of thinking they're utterly nuts, they'll h4xx0r trhe g1bs0n and post YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION THAT'S NOT EVEN YOURS IN THEIR COMMUNITY! OH NOES!

God, these people are rich.

Good forbid they discover proxy addresses and post them on the intarweb for everyone to see! And mock them over.

The original post is epic in its level of intellectual and fannish masturbatory potential. I'm honestly not sure which bit is better:

"I believe that the right thing must always be done, even if it's immoral or steps all over other people. I believe in always being painfully truthful and never hiding my intentions, but exercising due restraint and try to be polite." or

"I saw [her lightsaber] when I allowed my reconnection with Jesus (and the light energy Jesus brings that the Church had always hoarded for themselves and had intentionally created bad stigma/propaganda about so no one but them could claim it and distribute it to the masses -- sorry you fucktards, bet you weren't expecting your unexplainably caucasian bearded saviour to be a shapeshifter)"

Goddamn!

Um... how is the immoral thing the right thing to do?

There I go with the Earth logic again. But I'm sure I've seen weirder beliefs about Jesus.

I really, really liked this part:

I believe in always being painfully truthful and never hiding my intentions, but exercising due restraint and try to be polite.

Which, of course, means posting what she thought was someone's personal info in retaliation for the most minor of trollage/snarkiness.

Maybe it's a different samurai code. From an alternate universe.

Anileena is about as female as famed furry Loxorion "Alynna \"Pookie\" Seidaku" Trypnotk, i.e., not at all. His fetish is forcible gender change; read all about it at:

Are they serious? They're "souls are derived from 'anime' and 'videogames'"?

And here I thought I was an insane anime fan. I look tame compared to these loons.

For serious. I don't even know where to start asking the questions about that one.

Not only that, but the worlds these anime series were set in are /real/, as in they are alternate universes. They even go so far as to quote the makers of various anime, and in the grand tradition tinhattery, read into everything said about their obsession to show proof and evidence that it's REAL.

I think this one will just sink into the swamp, too. The one after that will burn down, and then sink into the swamp.

Oh me oh my. I was once sort of acquainted with that mod, until I discovered what a hair-trigger nutjob she was. Nice to see she's still as obnoxious as ever. Ah, the rampant pompous pseudo-intellectualism! Her inability to take a single word of criticism! Her tendency to fly into shrieking tirades over absolutely nothing! I remember them well =P
