wank at Found_Objects
The Livejournal community found_objects is a community for pictures of found objects (duh). Things usually move smoothly with the occasional picture of someone's pet which is strictly against The Rules. Other than that, pretty much anything is acceptable.

Enter ireland1972. On May 2nd, she posts a picture of a cardboard tube.


Some are confused. Is random, uninteresting trash worthy of being posted in such a community? Ireland1972 responds that "the community is for FOUND OBJECTS. i found this at a book store. you never asked me why i thought it worthy to be posted you just jumped on me about it. so of course i am going to defend myself."

Antichristine points out that the picture is big and should be cut (and insinuates that the pic isn't the masterpiece that irland1972 appears to think it is). Ireland1972 does not care.

So_gracefully agrees with anitchristine and adds that she's found "a big fucking baby!" Ireland1972 retorts, "couldnt you think of a more original line other than grow up?
"this" is a waste of my time? what is "this"? im not the one wasting my time telling people to grow up. i suppose you were trying to sound big and bad when really you look like a moron." Lvky defends so_gracefully and has an interesting icon.

Finally, angelicate snarks and posts a picture of a bottle cap that s/he "found" next to his/her key board. Ireland1972 admits that she was rude but it was totally everyone else's fault first!

Someone agrees with Ireland1972 stating that the usually aray of bumper stickers and signs are boring. But most think that it's boring and useless.

All in all, 56 comments stem from one picture of a crappy old roll of carboard. Some original comments are even deleted (like the dictionary definition of an object).


Determined not to let the plebeians get the last say, ireland1972 posts more pics today of what is usually posted on f_o but with this introduction: "you guys are so dramatic. look a sign just like everyone elses. you want signs. heres some signs. who knew signs were so wonderful and findable."



Georgy insults and calls irland1972 a troll, "Paging moderator. Ban-worthy troll in aisle 5, ban-worthy troll in aisle 5." Anexploitedgirl concurs "dude I agree[.] whats the deal here[.] try this on for size[.] being an anal fuck[.] Ban- worthy on aisle 5 Ban- worthry on aisle 5[.]"

Insults fly. "Yay spazzy!" "Somebody's a little PMSy today." And the awesome "but are you licking a giant pickle on a stick?" Ireland1972 is once again accused of being a troll and is asked by many to please "Have your tantrum elsewhere."

So far the comment count is at 81. Will the mod step in? Will ireland1972 continue to annoy? I have high hopes.

It lives! Someone has made a post with a picture (screenshot) of the post by ireland1972. (Posting pictures found on the internet is a definate no-no.)

Her LJ is pretty wft?-worthy too. She posts with mindblowing entries such as "anger. consumes my soul. its only 6."
