Belt0033 posts a rant in Conservativism about how anti-American the liberals are for condemning the actions of U.S. troops against Iraqi prisoners because Sadaam was worse. Wank ensues. Much, much wank.

Apparently, Belt0033 feels that anyone who disagrees with him is a troll, obviously sent from the liberal comm to infiltrate and bring down his ultimately right opinion. Thus, their posts must be screened before OMGsomebodyelseagreeswiththem!!!111oneleventyone!

My favorite highlight: OMGIMSOHIPROFILE!!!!111one!

Still a relatively small wank, but this definitely has the potential to grow.

Uh, WHAT? You know, I read a letter to the editor today in my local newspaper that argued something similar; that because we all know that Iraqis won't and haven't shown any respect to American prisoners, that makes it okay for us to treat them the same way. I guess for these brainless idiots sinking to their level is the way to go.

Does this fucker not realize that it is the HEIGHT of hypocrisy to claim to be a nation that values freedom and human rights and then to turn around and hook electrodes to prisoners? No, wait, that'd mean they'd have to THINK first.

God, these people suck.

It's nothing a healthy dose of humor can't help with. I'm a liberal myself, so reading Conservativism makes me bristle a bit, even though I read it just for shits and giggles. But then I point and laugh at the ones who are being idiotic about it. Like Belt.

Not to say I don't laugh just as hard at idiot liberals. Michael Moore and Ann Coulter are equal sporfle-bait XD

Dude, seriously? When everyone who is supposed to be cheering you on is wanting to kick your arse and gag you to keep from making them all look bad, it's time to shut the bloody fucking hell up.

I find it really ironic that for some people, patriotism is saying "woo, we're no. 1 so anything we do is a-okay!". Wouldn't patriotism oh, I don't know, make you want your country to actually in fact be the best it could be and be a guiding light for what you consider valuable? Just because you're not as wanky as the next guy, doesn't mean you /aren't/ a wanker.

Your standards are ridiculously low given the broad spectrum of real torture that is FAR worse.

It would not be advantageous for higher ranks to encourage their soldiers to pose on torture photos, so logic says it wasn't done.

Right. And yet, a few posts later, he somehow completely fails to invoke the logical issues with jinxing away WMD to Syria in face of an imminent war.

Seems logic works best if applied sparingly?
