Sigh.
To the other people who ride the bus:

How hard is it to pick up your crap? Seriously. Pick up your damn candy wrappers and coffee cups.

Also, your coffee cup was not empty. I know this because it leaked all over the floor.

How hard is it to hang on to something until you reach a garbage can? A lot of the bus stops have garbage cans!

Have a little common courtesy. Jesus.

When I lived where the buses ran, the bus drivers had wastebaskets in an attempt to curb littering though eating wasn't allowed on the buses. It didn't help. Nothing like getting spilled Yoo-hoo on my shoeshoe.

When I get up I usually have to clean up scattered tallboys and candy wrappers out of the yard-- and learned to do a pour check after splashing Milwaukee's Worst all over my pants leg. Geezuz, there's dumpsters in the alley and a big shiny decorative garbage can at the end of the street. Maybe I'm just weird because of all that "Pitch In!" "Give a hoot, don't pollute" and later, "Reduce Reuse Recycle" being hammered into my skull when it was still soft and impressionable.
