Heyo! I thought I'd drop in and introduce myself as I'm realtively new to the fandom, so I'm looking to meet as many fellow fans as I can. I'm a native of the HP fandom, but my recent foray into Smallville has left me definitely wanting more: more eps, more fic (L/L, Clex!), more Lex. Did I forget to mention that I'm head-over-heels for his character? He's an author's dream. *ahem*

But I digress... it's nice to meet you all, and I hope to get to know some of you.

Whew...ok, not in any particular order.

Was it my imagination or did the electronic's lab look exactly like the metal shop? Why is there no teacher watching these idiots? Hello, electrical fires? Whatever, they must have great insurance. Why didn't Chloe have a class? She just wandered into the lab and started gabbing to Clark and Pete (he's alive).

Is anyone else creeped out about how quickly Chloe can get information on people? What is she, CIA?

Ooooh look at the fairy pwincess on da horsey!! Moving on.

I swear ever time Bo-Jo opens his mouth it's either to spout out platitudes, be condescending or overbearing. Martha has concerns about the pregnancy and wants to go see someone she feels comfortable with, but Bo-Jo is more concerned about Dr. Ice's sleeping partner. And again the damn ship is NOT covered up or hidden. Then he shoots down Clark when he says he thinks Sirus may be an alien. Is this secretly an episode of Buffy? Are there only a select few that see the odd things going on in town? With all these mutants roaming around, everyone's first thought is to disbelieve. It's annoying.

::ouch:: Anvil alert. SECRETS. ALIENS. WE GET IT!! HONEST.

Helen and Lex. First of all, absolutely NO CHEMISTRY. And did you notice they didn't touch once through this entire episode. Helen is going to be Lex's trophy wife, sheesh. I'm sure if you read the local laws you will find that once you cross the county line, you relinquish any and all rights to any secrets or privacy. Everyone is entitled to know your most inner thoughts. If you are married, dating, sleeping together, or mildly acquainted, you must divulge your soul to anyone that asks, if not Chloe will investigate you. Actually if you are new to town Chloe will investigate you.

The door is locked. Why is it locked? I don't want a roommate. Was that like, if you loved me...and Lex caved. Did you notice how Lex was watching Helen? I think he was watching her, not to see her reaction to his obsession - Clark - but to see if she knew anything. Dr. Ice is his 'in' to the Kents.

I want to know what Martha told Dr. Ice. I loved the way Martha cut her eyes into her bangs when Bo-Jo went caveman and put his foot down on Martha going to see Lex's bed partner. Someone ain't gettin some lovin'.

It was very telling that when Clark asked Chloe and Lana how would they react finding out someone was an alien, Chloe would be excited and Lana freaked.

They show Clark throwing some guy into a police car then turning to see Lana blinking vapidly. Then you hear the voiceover say how Lana's trust turns to fear. Hello? Has this guy been watching the same show? Every time Lana gets her panties in a twist she spouts off how Clark doesn't trust her or she doesn't trust him. When did she start trusting him?

"...hung like a blue whale. Where the Hell do you hide that thing? I've seen you in those old jeans that are a little too tight, I'm sure I would have noticed something before."

"Holy shit! It retracts? Wow. I guess I know why you don't try to nail Lana. That thing would kill her."

"Gee, thanks Lex. Glad my physical abnormalities amuse you."

"Ah shit, Clark. I'm sorry. It was just a bit of a shock: you always seemed so perfect. You know you could make a fortune in the porn industry?"

"Lex, if you don't shut up, I'm going to beat you to death with it."

*much giggling*

"I'm sorry, you'll never be able to have sex, and here I am laughing."

"Hey, it's okay: I'm laughing too. Besides, I can have sex; I'd just have to be on the receiving end."
