I've read comments about how squicky this could be, but I am really won over by this story. I've been wondering about who I could ship Minerva with; JKR has written her with very little sexiness. And I love my Snape slashy, but the way this is detailed, with its beautifully grim atmosphere, it feels so real. It's a very ADULT story, and not for raciness, but the weariness. You can feel their exhaustion. You can also feel their commitment to the cause, the school, the students. I really like that we jump forward and back in time. I'm grateful for a glimpse of them under Voldemort's rule, having their fierce quiet solidarity, a grim sort of intimacy, in their private moments. I look forward to reading more from you.
