	Hope and tragedy all at once! I loved this story and that it was told in Narcissa's voice. The complicated people and relationships, the hints at who knew what - you did so much in this story! (Reply to this)

I got so involved into the story that the funeral scene was a painful and shocking jolt back to reality. It feels even more unfair that Severus had to die, considering he *just* got a shot at happiness. I loved how the three of them loved each other deeply, in different ways. I could totally understand how Narcissa could love both types of personalities. Severus's line about Narcissa wearing him out all night completely cracked me up. I'm glad she found it amusing, too. I also liked the scene where she excitedly asks if they can do that new anal sex again. LOL

Narcissa looking for Sev and finding him gone, and that emptiness inside - oh, it was beautiful and sad and so Severus to think that way.

I'm glad it ends with them keeping Severus' girl. I'm also glad it was the Malfoys who didn't forget him but saw to his burial, 'cause everyone else in canon never appreciated him properly.

	Wonderful and utterly gripping from the very first line. They're all so broken and yet desire even the smallest glimmer of acceptance/happiness. I'm especially glad Snape was able to have a bit of comfort before he dies. I loved this. Thanks for sharing! (Reply to this)

This is wonderful.

Narcissa is wonderful. Honestly, this has got to be one of the best characterizations I have EVER seen of her. So often I see her as secondary to Lucius, or a trophy wife. I love that she's smart and takes no crap. I love that she knows everything that's going on, and it's the men who are stunned at revelations.

Lucius is great. I think some of his reactions are great indicators of who he is and how he feels about Narcissa. I love that he can feel jealousy, that he can be hurt, that he's not cold and cut off.

I love the backstory. I was confused at first, when Narcissa was pregnant at a time that would have meant that Draco was older than he is. But the first pregnancy, both Narcissa's and Lucius' reactions to the miscarriage, how it actually brought them closer rather than driving them apart. It was really sweet.

And the bits about the Malfoy's not only losing their status, but their wealth were really nice touches.

For the first time, I can actually say that I love Bellatrix. And by that I mean the way you characterize her. I like that she cares for Narcissa, but is more concerned with herself. I LOVE that she's not screaming and insane and talking about Voldemort all the time.

Also, I like your Snape. His characterization is perfect. I'm really interested to know what he told Narcissa about Lily, and HOW he said it.

I felt so bad for Lucius at times, so bad for Narcissa at others. They were both so believable, so human, and so very real. Whatever front they present to the wizarding world, they are still people with feelings, and you captured that brilliantly. You made them sympathetic. Loved that.

The smut (all of it) was just so perfect. I love how it displayed what was happening in their relationship, like when Narcissa is fellating Lucius and she's so desperate. It's really obvious how much she needs and wants him.

You've got a great style. I was completely drawn in by every scene. It's a joy to read.

Wow. Your Lucius was absolutely brilliant. You managed to keep all of them IC. I could totally see how Lucius ends up having problems with his potency after Azkaban and is unable to discuss it with Narcissa. It just made both of them more real.
I adored the scene where Draco is kneeling at Lucius' feet and holds his hand.
And all the small details were wonderfully built in, like the Dark Lord's malicious smile or the house elfs still seeking permission to serve Voldemort.
