Author's notes: For the sake of this fic I've made Lorcan and Lysander a year older than Lily, but I am fully aware that this isn’t the way things are in canon. I borrowed the opening line for this story from In the Cemetery Where Al Jolson Is Buried by Amy Hempel. This story doesn’t happen in chronological order from beginning to end.
