There's been a casting call sent out for New Moon and oh noes, Taylor Lautner is mentioned before RPattz in the cast list (most likely because there is a lot of Jacob in New Moon and Edward is hardly in the book).

Many Edward/Bella shippers from lion_lamb didn't take it well and wankery ensued.

IDK. If seeing Taylor's name before Rob's was a little weird..imagine if the movie poster for New Moon was Bella and Jacob? Though, there's a bigger chance it'll be Edward and Bella.

The series is about Edward, Bella, and Jacob. It's a love triangle.

Regardless of whether you're Team Edward or Team Jacob or even Team Switzerland like I, Jacob is central to the story, especially in New Moon, and that is why he gets billing. Since he has a (if only marginally) larger role in New Moon than Edward, he gets higher billing. This is Hollywood crediting logic, not a personal snub to Edward/Bella fans.

For crying out loud.

That's not Hollywood crediting logic, actually. The order of billing is probably already written into contracts, and things like "he has slightly less screentime in this one" will have very little to do with it. "Taylor deserves to have top billing since Rob gets top billing in the other 3" is also not Hollywood crediting logic.

I love New Moon and I'm so exciting for it. But ugh, the thought of having Jacob's face much bigger than Edward in the movie poster is making me abit sick. Not against Jacob tbh, I just can't get myself to get used to that.... yet.

Yeah, same here. I fell in love with Jacob in Breaking Dawn (dont ask me how) and once I saw him in the movie I liked him even more.. Now? Not so much. They better change the order up on the official movie page or other wise there will be a lot of angry fan girls out there and you don't want to tick them off.

this post is just preview for all the taycob resentment that's gonna be going down in the coming months haha :P i imagine they'll put a lot more edward throughout it than in the book. i'm just saying, if we only get 25-30 of rob screentime, there will be hell to pay. ;)
