Dang, Mac keyboards have some crazy shortcuts. All I have is € and $ set next to my arrow keys.


But I've always done the TM by surrounding it with <sup> </sup>. I know there's a thingy for it like &hearts; or whatever, but I can't ever remember if it's just tm or what.

Isn't it, though? I saw it on [info]weepingcock the other day and subsequently found myself losing sleep two nights in a row watching the source anime.

The show is "Inukami!" and it's pretty crack and also hilarious. The scene that inspired the icon is from the third part of the first episode: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NKpL9bv4FCA

The best episode, for the crack and wtf and lulz, is probably #18, if you want to take the time to check it out, but it doesn't make much sense out of context of the storyline, not that the context makes much sense either. Basically it's a lot of innuendo and gay jokes and penis jokes and Youko, Keita's bonded magic animal girl, getting annoyed with Keita and using her shikuchi to remove his clothes in public.

Except in the icon's scene, he did it himself on purpose in order to fight a magician who was shooting lasers from his nipples. The lasers would make all males' clothes vanish.

MTV's movies blog devoted two separate birthday posts to him, and @ropeofsilicon was like, "OHHHHHH GOD." I mean, not that I disagree, but it was funny to see one movie site trashing another one.

I was surprised that Entertainment Weekly didn't devote a full day of coverage, actually.
