That's...um. I'm reminded of those Rei Ayanami body pillows made so fans can "snuggle" with them.

That was my first thought as well. If there were ever any doubt that fangirls could be just as creepy as male otaku, this would about clear it up.

Ahaha I knew a person who had a pillowcase and bedsheet of some Haruhi character, and didn't mind other people knowing about it.
