I dunno, from the sound of some of them they're probably constantly going "Why aren't you more like Edward!" Smeyer herself said she told her husband she'd leave him for Ed or Jacob. I don't know about them, but if I was being compared to an infinitely beautiful, borderline abusive 17-year-old, I'd get annoyed pretty quick.

I think the real irony is the woman is probably driving her husband insane and has no idea why.

Yeah, but SMeyer also said her husband was basically like, "LOL please do."

On the other hand, if my boyfriend kept asking me why I couldn't be more like Bella I would LOSE IT.
