Twilight Brand Heroin. As in...well, see for yourselves! No source for the image though.

And if you're in the mood to get your hackles up there's also 7 Threatened fanboy responses to New Moon. Be warned, some of the quotes are pretty fuckedheaded.

Yeah, as much as I dislike the Twilight books, these people seem more upset that something aimed at icky, icky girls is making waves at the box office, never mind the quality of it.

Most of those comments can be reduced to, "Ew, cooties!"

Indeed. Those responses actually make me want to go pay money to see New Moon and the opening of the next (Breaking Damn?), and I thought NOTHING could convince me to support Twilight.

Congratulations, pond scum. I am willing to pay money to piss you off.

I saw New Moon. If you ignore Bella and Edward, it's not too terrible. The next one is Eclipse, I think. Breaking Dawn is last. I suggest going to a fork & screen theater, getting a litttle tipsy, and laughing your way through Bella and Edward.

You can always do what I did, since I'm still loathe to give the Twilight ~*saga*~ any of my money - buy some cheap rum, pour it in a water bottle, grab a friend, but tickets to Where The Wild Things Are, buy some Cokes, and sneak in to New Moon.

I haven't laughed that hard since we did the same thing last year.

I saw New Moon because my friend needed a sanity check after her friends wanted to go for a birthday present. I had more fun flirting with the waiter. What's fun is when the entire theater is laughing at the movie and adlibbing. I've never seen Twilight before. It was quite entertaining and I felt like Nigel Lythgoe with perving on Lautner's underage self.

The reactions to New Moon remind me a lot of the reactions to Sex and the City: The Movie. They don't really care about the content, they're just pissed off that something is being made that isn't for them! (And yes, your standard chick flick is made to appeal to men to, that's why they're so fucking misogynistic.)
