lyrangalia: Just when you thought you'd seen all the Twilight tattoos possible...

from io9: World's Biggest Twilight Back TattooI'm trying to provide some sort of relevant commentary, but all I've got is "OH GOD WHY" Thu, Jan. 6th, 2011 10:00 pm (UTC)

Someone is going to be so incredibly embarrassed in twenty years. Thu, Jan. 6th, 2011 10:08 pm (UTC)

I can't help but wonder how natural sagging is going to affect all those intricately inked faces. Thu, Jan. 6th, 2011 10:56 pm (UTC)

Can I point out that about 99% of diets end in regaining all of the weight, if not more? For her sake I really hope she's in the 1%. Fri, Jan. 7th, 2011 04:49 am (UTC)

In twenty years? My guess is a whole lot sooner! Thu, Jan. 6th, 2011 11:04 pm (UTC)

Uh... at least it's fairly well-done, considering the subject matter? Just trying to look at the bright side here... Yeah, OK, there is no bright side. Thu, Jan. 6th, 2011 11:14 pm (UTC)

I went with "the tattoo's actually quite good...just, the subject matter? not so much..." Fri, Jan. 7th, 2011 12:33 am (UTC)

I'm not going to lie, I actually screamed when that webpage loaded. Not good. Fri, Jan. 7th, 2011 02:17 am (UTC)

I keep imagining the tattoo artist repeating in his/her head: I'm getting paid for this, I'm getting paid for this, I'm getting paid for this. Otherwise all I can think of is that What has been seen can not be unseen cat macro. Fri, Jan. 7th, 2011 02:22 am (UTC)

I've seen far too many bad Twilight tattoos to be fazed by this. Maybe that's what I tell myself so I can sleep at night. Fri, Jan. 7th, 2011 03:57 am (UTC)

It's the sheer size of it that gets me. And the fact that she's planning on adding all the Cullens to the front. Like some giant body swallowing tattoo monster. Fri, Jan. 7th, 2011 05:36 am (UTC)

At least it isn't just RPattz's face. Fri, Jan. 7th, 2011 05:47 am (UTC)

I...It's so hard to even begin unpacking all the horror in this. The fact that viz. the reflection in the mirror, it's clearly someone old enough to know better? The "dropped 14 dress sizes"? The price of the tat? That there's more to come, at similar prices? The hint of plumber's crack in the pic? The details of the tat itself - is that another face up on her shoulder? Why all the random flowers? Is that supposed to be Renesmee's little hand beside profile-Eddie's shoulder? That extra floating Ed-face, she does realize that's at a particularly twisty place on her waist, right? *weeps quietly into the pages of a better book* Fri, Jan. 7th, 2011 08:29 am (UTC)

Props to her for losing weight, but oh my god she is cray-cray. Sat, Jan. 8th, 2011 08:07 am (UTC)

That was pretty much my thought! 14 dress sizes is a big deal, but yikes. Fri, Jan. 7th, 2011 05:57 pm (UTC)

I mean... whatever gets you through the night but... Wow. Fri, Jan. 7th, 2011 06:03 pm (UTC)

I'm so torn. I want to say, "I hope she maintains her insanity and is a hardcore Twimom once she leaves the Twihard phase of her life." But then I remember, why the fuck would I want to wish someone is a Twimom?! But if she's not, she's gonna grow out of this and be slathered with a giant Twilight tattoo--which is well-done, and it could be worse, she could be covered with one of the giant Twilight tattoos that really sucks--gah, it's a big giant mess. Let's just go with, "You really shouldn't have done that. Why couldn't you have just gotten that ridiculous "Lion-Lamb Quote" ankle tattoo like every other Twihard?" Having seen this, I feel as though I could never be embarrassed by any possible tattoo I may get in the future, no matter what it is. Thu, Sep. 29th, 2011 07:36 pm (UTC) (Anonymous): sqbalQZPNV
