Well, to be fair, a co-worker of mine* also likes Twilight, but mostly from the brain-candy POV. (At least, that's what I gather since she also owns the 'And then Buffy staked Edward' T-shirt.)

Now, if Mister Romney takes it more seriously than 'something that's not work related and doesn't require much thought, that I can talk about with my granddaughter', then I'll worry. But, given my general opinion of anyone who is able to get elected for a state office by the Republican party**, I think I'll hold off on critiquing Mister Romney for his taste in reading material when I have so many more things I can critique him on.

No but Mormon may explain why he would enjoy Twilight, in that he agrees with the values presented in the novels.
