Night of the Bad Comic Artists Submission Post!

Greeting Boils and Ghouls! It's that time of year again! Halloween is coming up this weekend and we have a special trick or treat in store for you kiddies. A little horrible post I like to call:

I bet the woman with the nude back facing us has Rob Liefeld feet.

Please submit the most terrifying, most grotesque art that makes you scream out "ANATOMY DOESN'T WORK THAT WAY!" or "OH GOD, MY RETINAS!" you can find below as links or e-mail me the images. Please provide the name of the artist and comic title if known and not visible in the image, as well as context if applicable (but who needs context anyways)! Submissions need not be restricted to western art. Comments will be screened.

The images will be put up on October 30th at 5 p.m PST. That's 12 a.m on Halloween in Greenwich.

*pout* I like Larry Stroman. He's stylized as all heck, and unlike Liefeld he knows his anatomy (even if he draws it in odd ways). Sienkiewicz and Mignola are other highly stylized types, and they're fanfaves.

I will admit Stroman is an acquired taste, especially his faces, and I heard his newer art is even moreso, but he's marvelous at expressions and dramatic panel flow. (Also I love the way he draws women's hair.)

	Even talented artists have their off days. I agree that not all of Stroman is bad. The anatomy of the above image is good (minus extra muscles but that is pretty standard in western comics), but the placement...yeah. (Reply to this)(Parent)

	Why is Wolverine rabid? And are those chains actually sticking into his face??? This image is defeating my attempts to parse it. (Reply to this)
