| About: | ~~04 AUG 2007 This is an annex community on JournalFen for Supernaturalfic on Livejournal. The rules and set up are as similar as we can make them, but there is not a full time set of moderators for this annex as there is on Livejournal at this time. That said, feel free to submit your work here. Fanfiction and fanart for the CW show, "Supernatural", including het, slash, or gen genres. Caveat Lector - Let the Reader Be Aware: ![[info]](http://www.journalfen.net/img/community.gif){kind=small} supernaturalfic allows fiction and art postings of all ratings, and community members should be aware Adult material of a violent and/or sexual nature of varying degrees of suggestiveness or explicitness may be posted here. The moderators do not, in general, moderate for content although we try to make a reasonable attempt at making sure spoilers and graphic images are kept behind a cut tag -- however, tolerable graphicness in either images or text is entirely subjective. Comm members are reminded to contact one of the comm moderators if they have specific concerns. Comm Guidelines: The comm moderators can all be reached by appending @livejournal.com to their user names or by writing to us at supernaturalfic@gmail.com. 1. Announcements*, ficsearchs, fic requests, fic challenges, discussions about the show, the characters, or the actors, meta, and introduction posts are NOT ALLOWED.
What is allowed? As long as it pertains directly to Supernatural: Fan art (including icons, but not screen cap posts or picspams) Fan fiction of all genres and ratings Fan made vids Fan poetry 2. Posting: This community is moderated to help the mods organize the favorites. Most posts will go through on the same day they are posted, or shortly after. The title of your story (even if it's "Untitled), must go in the subject line or the submission will be rejected. 3. Formatting: If you are posting fiction directly into the comm, please use standard fonts. Not small, not bold. The same for your headers. If you've customized your journal to handle specialized formatting, please remember, this comm is not configured like your journal. Please PREVIEW your submission. Bad formatting, including bt not limited to stray html tags, bad cut tags, overly large or overly small fonts, will cause your post to be rejected. 4. Warnings & Ratings: Because of the nature of this show, incest!fic will happen. Please label all your fiction and art with the appropriate ratings and warnings. This applies to language, sex, excessive violence and gore. Also, remember to note any episode spoilers that may be in your story or art. 5. INCEST should always be clarified by including the EXACT PAIRING, such as Sam/Dean, John/Dean or John/Sam. 6. Real Person Fic (RPF/RPS) is welcome in this community, but it must be labeled as such. As always, include a disclaimer. Any fic that includes Jensen or Jared is accepted. 7.: supernaturalfic maintains an extensive archive of all story/art/vid entries made, searchable by title, pairing, rating, genre, and episode relation. In order to maintain that archive, the site minions request your posts be labeled in the following manner:Subject Line: Title of story/art/vid plus part number if applicable. 8. updated 5/26/2006: Please don't link to a friends-locked entry, as the post will be deleted. 9. Tags: Please place the title and rating of your fic in the subject line and place the actual fic underneath an LJ-cut or link to an outside source. This community has a selection of tags you should use to help us organize and track the fics and art posted. Use these tags to the best of your ability and ask the mod if you have any questions about how your fic should be tagged. For a list of the available tags, check this post. 10. UPDATE 07/19/2007: Audio and Vid files: We will no longer be archivingng Vids or Audio links that are not permanent. If you are submitting Vids or Audio Files, please indicate on your post if the links provided are permanent or temporary:
Temporary links would be if the vid is only available for download through file sharing sites like SendSpace, Z-Share, Megaupload, etc. You can still post the vids and audio if you are only using filesharing, we just won't be archiving them since the links are likely to be dead within a week or ten days. Also, if you are posting the work of someone OTHER THAN YOURSELF, please indicate that you have permission to do so in your header information. If you are new to the fandom or looking for a place to discuss the show, look no more!
