| About: | INTRODUCTION Welcome to the 'Tennis no Oujisama' / 'The Prince of Tennis' fan community, hosted on JournalFen. 'Tennis no Oujisama' / 'The Prince of Tennis' (TeniPuri for short) is a sports manga featured in Shounen Jump Magazine, created by Konomi Takeshi. If you're unfamiliar with this work, please go here. Whether you're a longtime JF member, or if just moving over from LJ (or any other blogging or journal service) and are interested in tenipuri, please feel free to join and help the community get off its feet. GUIDELINES/CONDUCT Once you become a member, please observe the following rules, to keep this an enjoyable place for everyone: 1. Play nice. Don't be a jerk / start trouble. 2. Lock any questionable content. Since I'd like to cover my ass, though, or in case some people don't know what the definition of being a 'jerk' might be, the rules are further detailed below. - Please be respectful of other members of the community. Personal insults, arguments, and the like will be dealt with by a moderator. Constructive criticism is acceptable and highly encouraged, however, posts or comments made solely to flame, harm, or otherwise harrass others are subject to being frozen or deleted. - Please post only in English, or Japanese when appropriate (in the case of product information, new releases of things, translation issues, et cetera). This is an English-language community. We're not trying to exclude anyone, the mods simply don't have the ability to deal with content that is not in English. English does not have to be your native language, you simply need to make sure that any actual content you contribute should be in English. - Please keep content related to TeniPuri or any of its forms, including but not limited to: Manga, Anime, Radio Shows, Live Performances & Events, Videogames, Merchandise, Music, Animated Movies, Live-Action Movies, and Musicals. - Fanwork is accepted and encouraged. Please correctly label all fanwork with appropriate warnings/disclaimers and age ratings. JF is an 18+ site, but people should still have the option whether or not to view a particular type of content. - When posting fanwork, please include at the very least: Author's Name, Work Title, Type of Fanwork, and Content Rating. Feel free to include more than that, if you like. - Multimedia of all types is accepted and encouraged. Please exercise common sense when posting media. Place excessive numbers of images (IE, lots of icons) or excessively large images (IE, scans or wallpapers) below a cut. Do not direct link other websites' files without permission, or you will be bitch-smacked into next year. If you do not understand what 'hotlinking' or 'direct linking' is, please google it. It also falls under the term of 'bandwidth theft', and is considered terribly rude, offensive, and constitutes theft. - Please friends-lock all multimedia posts. If you do not know how to do this, please ask. If you post media that isn't locked, you will be asked to do so. If you don't, your post may be deleted. You are more than welcome to repost it under a lock. This is to protect ourselves, you, and the community. - Please post images that are *not* 'safe for work' under a cut whenever possible. I will not hunt anyone down about this, but some people do like to browse things at work, and it's just a courtesy. - Please keep 'pimping' posts (for other communities or the like) to a minimum. You can advertise, just be courteous about it. Please do not post any 'sales' posts at this time. They may be accepted in the future, but I'd rather not start off the community that way. - The manga and anime have both been licensed, so please do not make any posts asking where you can download them. It's a legality issue, Google is easy to use for that sort of thing.
