| Depends on the tradition. 13 crops up in the more Satanic portrayals, whereas the older (I believe) tradition is three, as in MacBeth, Discworld, Reinder's comic, etc. Indeed, I think the unluckiness of 13 only starts as a folk belief sometime in the mediaeval period, so... | ||||||
