| Um, wasn't Ron's concern STICKING UP FOR HERMIONE after Snape WENT OUT OF HIS WAY to hit her with a cheap shot? Wasn't the point of the passage to show that Snape literally CANNOT see his students' wrongdoings if they're committed against people Snape hates? And you could easily argue that part of the point of Snape insulting Hermione like that was to goad Harry and Ron into cursing him out so he'd have an excuse to punish them. | ||||||
