PSA: Grabbed this one off the Wank Report as well.

I'm just agog at the sheer venomous viciousness with which these ... people? (assuming they are, and not just horrible facsimiles thereof) ... are venting on the vivacious Ginny Weasley.

Let's start off with this thread on Portkey. Most of the text is pasted unexpurgated from the wank report, but my commentary is in italics.

Scout : I hate ginny frickin weasley.

She's a fake, cruel, ugly fangirl who knows nothing about the real Harry, and did everything she possibly could to keep Hermione away from Harry.

Midnghtr72 : She is just a cruel little piece of work, with an amazing bat bogey hex that is so amazing people fall in love wit her for it. Really, can't we just get rid of this girl and add more Luna?

thewall28304 : I think it's safe to say we all can't stand Ginny,because her character turned out to be a Jezebel and still won "the boy who lived".

And for a change, Ron Weasley gets a few lumps of his own.

Back to the outpouring of hate for Ginny with a small side of Ron-hate also...

I dislike Ron immensely and it is obvious to me that he doesn't deserve Hermione. What WAS Rowling thinking?!!!

The anon poster on the wank report commented that he/she thought the below was particularly made of special. (I suspect special batshit wankery, personally.)

c&m: and you know what? Maybe you could actually be of use to everyone by being with dear old Draco. Now, that's what I call punishment and reward for you. *wink*

*c&m leaves the room gleefully leaving a stupefied Ginny behind*

Whew! That felt wonderful. So, there. Who says I'm brutal?
