Broomstick flyer is a fanfic writer who, along with her husband, writes HP fanfic that she like to read to her grandkids.
One of her best works was a fic where Hermione dies and is confronted by the children that she was supposed to have with Harry - and she realises what a shame and waste her life has been, and how terrible her kids with Ron are (Heaven sent).
Something even viler than that: The Potter blood feud
Two weeks later Arthur and Molly Weasley were sitting at the breakfast table when a tremendous shaking began under their feet, quickly the shaking spread to the walls of the Burrow. They were still sitting trying to work out what was happening when the magic holding the odd shaped house together simply vanished. Seconds later they were both lying dead in the rubble of their home.
Hermione Potter standing just outside the Weasley wards placed her wand retrieved from the ruins of the Burrow safely into her holster and apparated to Diagon Alley where she found her husband of just one month standing watching Ron Weasley as he swung gently in the breeze, he hung fastened by his feet to the sign above the Weasley twins shop. He was screaming for help as he tried to stem the flow of blood that was flowing freely from where Harry had removed his manhood.
Upside down he would have just a little longer to live and to regret ever trying to force Hermione Granger to marry him become a slave and give him and his brothers’ children. Inside the shop the Weasleys only remaining twin was already dead, having been subjected to a taste of his own medicine. His death certificate would report the cause of death as ingesting far too many of his own products, including packs of ever dry fireworks that had somehow ignited while in his stomach.
Ginny who had often stood next to Ron encouraging him to take the final step and rape her former friend was bound in thick ropes and lay in the gutter at Harry’s feet. “I thought you might like to deal with this one,” Harry commented as his wife arrived beside him.
Hermione who had suffered years of verbal abuse in the magical world looked up at Ron and with a glare at him and a desire for revenge waved her wand and stripped the now sobbing for mercy Ron of his clothes. “You still want me as a baby factory Weasley? Oh seems you don’t have the tackle any longer what a shame,” she said as she glared at him.
Ginny Weasley died as she choked on her brothers completely amputated genitals that were forced down her throat by Hermione who kept hearing the words the youngest redhead had told her brother repeatedly “Oh just rip her knickers off and shag her, that’ll shut the bitch up.”
Bet the grandkids will love that.
In a reply to a review to this very story, she writes:
Note to smedman, First I would like to say thanks for your highly intelligent review. Second I dont recall asking you to read this story, if you read my profile you will see that I write for my grandchildren, who it seems are far more intelligent and are able to express their likes and dislikes without being insulting, at least they dont resort to the sort of rubbish you posted as a review.

If my parent or grandparent ever showed me a story like that, I'd become very fearful for their sanity. I hope against hope that whoever that fanfic author is, that they come to their senses and delete that fic posthaste.

Poor Rose and Hugo. They're on-screen for a page or two, with only a few lines and this is the treatment they get? Hermione would never think of them as terrible, regardless of who their father is.
And in agreement with everyone else. She shouldn't be letting her grandkids read this vitriol.

| This is disgusting. I'm horrified someone would even make up (and I'm betting--hoping--on her being a troll) letting her grandchildren read this.
You know, there was this story not long ago about some guy who wrote a HIGHLY disturbing rape/torture fic about the girls from the group Girls Aloud; very similar to this. He was actually arrested, and I can remember thinking, "Good. Anyone who can bring themselves to write something like that with such relish really should be brought in and questioned. They should be made to see a psychologist..."
I know in that case they were real women, and in this case they're fictional characters with no lawyers and PR people to press charges on these people but...the intent is still there. My reaction remains the same. ESPECIALLY if they're subjecting children to this.

| Sweet mothering fuck. Even if Ron and Ginny truly WERE guilty of the horrible abuse they're accused of in this fic, how anyone, even a Harmonian, could think that amputating Ron's genitals and then choking his sister to death by shoving them down her throat is, y'know, a totally appropriate and justified revenge to take on them, is incomprehensible to me. I'm as much offended on Hermione and Harry's behalf as I am on Ron and Ginny's, because this fic makes them look even more vile than the other two.

Um, yeah, actually, you kind of did. When you publicly post a fic you've written on the largest, most well-trafficked fanfiction site on the internet, that's exactly what you're doing: Inviting people to read it.
If you're truly just writing these fics "for your grandchildren," (*shudders at the thought*) and genuinely intend it only for them, then here's a radical suggestion: Don't post it where anyone with an internet connection can read it. It's a shocking, unorthodox concept, I know, but try to wrap your mind around it.
