| | Lack of talent? Ridiculous, considering Harry got Exceeds Expectations even though a slimy git who hated Harry's guts taught him for the first five years. | | (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread) |

| | Yeah...Snapefen use that as an indication of Snape's wonderful teaching skills. Despite the canon statement that Harry felt more relaxed, and Neville looked happier in the Potions practical OWL than ever in Snape's class. When a kid is more relaxed in an exam than in class it's not a good sign. Snapefen don't get this. Harry passed his exam in spite of Snape, not because of him. | | (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread) |
| | Indeed. It was 'teen!Snape of the Potions book' who taught Harry well in potions, not adult Snape. I thought we were meant to get the point that Snape could have been a really great teacher if not for his attitude. | | (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread) |

| | When that's mentioned to the rabid fen, they'll insist that's because Harry learnt when he did what he was told, rather than Snape being a better instructor when he wasn't bullying the learner. | | (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread) |
