So, a little over a month ago I was asking for advice here, on the Severus/Lily fic I was working on, and since interest in reading it was shown, I'm posting a link to the completed chapt. 1, here. Mods, please let me know if this is not cool.
Ironically, I wound up splitting the chapter up, so the scene I was having trouble with will be appearing in chapter 2. (Chapter 1 was getting really long.)
The skinny: This is a long Severus/Lily fic series, where Severus Snape has some character growth and gets to stay with Lily Evans for good, and where their lives are explored in detail (with some exploration for their friends and enemies, too). There will be romance, comedy, drama, angst, smut, action, slice of life, shmoop, wizarding politics, and maybe even some horror, from time to time. You never know what you might find in each chapter, except for guaranteed Severus/Lily.

Notes: There’s a bit of text from canon, at the beginning. Also, Severus’s characterization is primarily based off of teen Snape (as opposed to Professor Snape). And, I’m using British vocab for many things (or trying to). For instance, pants = underwear; left school = graduated.
