| | Some of the actors have already responded to this. I know Felton did and I think the Twins? | | (Reply to this) (Thread) |

| Yes, the twins responded on their twitter. [paraphrased] James said; Just to clear things up, this isn't me. It's funny, but it has nothing to do with me. & Oliver said; *i don't have kids* | | (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread) |
| | I guess it means either they aren't randomly shagging groupies or they at least get to know their names. | | (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread) |
| | Saw that a couple weeks ago and its still funny. People were debating how real it was on the forums. | | (Reply to this) (Thread) |

| | Lol that's amusing. I see this kind of post all the time in bandom and pop fandoms. | | (Reply to this) (Thread) |
| | I've seen this floating around but never came to the conclusion of Hermione writing this secret. XD | | (Reply to this) (Thread) |
| | Well, it's not canon denial. It's really something though. Yeah, it's something right there. :D | | (Reply to this) (Thread) |

| It's weird how everyone is interpreting it as "she doesn't know who the father is", I'm interpreting it more as "I know who the father is but I don't want it getting out so I'm putting his picture in among a bunch of other related actors."
Also, way to fail again, childfree. "Mattress-back"? REALLY? | | (Reply to this) (Thread) |
| | I consider myself "childfree" but I'm so often squicked by the disturbing amount of misogyny in the childfree communities. Especially since so many consider themselves paragons of feminism. | | (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread) |
 bellomee13 | | Link: | (Link) | | Time: | 2010-12-14 05:25 pm (UTC) |
|
| | See, I have no problem with others being childfree. It's when childfree people act like they're so morally superior to all those moos out there who couldn't keep their legs crossed that I get pissed off. | | (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread) |
| | This is why I never get involved in any "childfree" communities on the internet. My choice not to have children does not make me superior to women who do choose to have children. How can people talk like that about their own mothers? | | (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread) |
| How can people talk like that about their own mothers? I'd love to turn my mom loose on some of those asswipes. This woman had four children in five years, all while working full-time as a registered nurse. She'd make mincemeat out of them. | | (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread) |
| | I get thoroughly squicked by the extremist rhetoric. Didn't one CF paragon once say she'd throw her sister's children out if given the opportunity? Way to be a shining example of all that's good in the idea of "family". *rolls eyes* | | (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread) |
| | WTF! I think I've totally lost hope for the human race. People like that seriously make me think we should just blow ourselves up and let a decent species take over. | | (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread) |
| | ...The fact that this subculture exists makes me feel ever so slightly worse about the human race. ;_; | | (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread) |
| | Wait...the fact that there are people who do not want children, or that some of them get together and say nasty things? | | (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread) |
| | Granted that all has nothing to do with Harry Potter aside from the original image, but... damn. | | (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread) |
| | And on sf_drama, one of the mods keeps on saying the comm isn't sexist, it's just the minority of the members!! *pfff* | | (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread) |

| I got to the part about petri-dish babies and wow, fuck you. Glad to know gay people shouldn't have children because nature clearly didn't intend for them to have any! And that whole childless vs. Childfree terminology is complete bullshit.
I can safely say I've met children who were much more mature, intelligent and pleasant to be around than these assholes. It's amazing how they demonstrate so much of the behavior they despise in children. | | (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread) |
| The part about public education made me laugh. Hard and bitterly. OMG, students today are so naughty, naughty, naughty and we're going to hell in a handbasket.
If she thinks there's no punishment today in schools, she must have never heard of zero tolerance policies that expel students for having tyenol (it's a drug!) or nail clippers (they're a weapon!) | | (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread) |

| | Honestly, they sound like stereotypical old people complaining about Kids These Days and how everything was better Back In Their Day. I bet they like sitting on their porches yelling at kids to get off their lawns. | | (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread) |

| Why am I counting down the hours till we see this one levelled at Ginny? "Teh Holy Gin-Bot is just a PROFESSIONAL MATTRESS-BACK who shagged her way around Hogwarts before conning Harry into marrying her! I bet the kids aren't his!"

| Unfortunately, yes D: I'm just wondering how long it will take before the Harmoanians start calling Ginny a "professional mattress-back" to justify the idea.
If I had my own JF I'd totally make a post here about all the wacky Harmoanian theories re. why Ginny is an unfaithful wife, Rose is really Harry's daughter, etc. And then there's the good old standby that Harry and Ginny aren't REALLY married nineteen years later, they got divorced, and so did Ron and Hermione. They're just trying to put a happy face on it for the kids!
~ Marmalade Atkins | | (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread) |
| | Oh, I think that's what she meant. It just amused me that one could read it the other way so easily. (Since it's obviously fake.) It made me think that Harry, the twins, Ron, Snape, Draco and -- is that Voldemort? all had an orgy and she was there. Which is hilarious. | | (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread) |
| | It looks like Jason Isaacs, so it was a Harry/Snape/Ron/Fred/George/Draco/Lucius gangbang, with quadruple the orgiastic incestuous pleasure. | | (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread) |
| First, I must confess my ignorance: had no idea there was such a thing as cf communities. I know, how silly of me; there's a bloody comm for everything imaginable on the internets.
Second, I've been married nearly a decade (happily), and the man and I are both not inclined toward having kids, period. Tis a mutual decision, and we're happy with it(once we managed to convince my mum it wasn't the end of the world, that is). So, yes. I personally don't feel that beig a parent is right for me, and it's a choice I'm content with.
But wtf is up with ranting against babies, or against women who have them??? I'm genuinely shocked here. What the sod gives you the right to criticize others for making different choices?? This is hilarious, and embarrassing. 'Let those premature babies swim'??? Really?
I hate this. I hate it when a perceived 'minority' (group of people who do something against the norm) turns around and starts meting out views as bigoted and rabid and horrible as the sort of shit its probably experienced itself, for being 'different'. I mean, I've had to listen to lectures and admonishment for my lack-of-baby status, so I'd be the VERY LAST PERSON to turn around and start condemning mums, single or married or whatever they bloody well please.
Gah. tl;dr over, sorryandthankyou. | | (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread) |
| | Eh, you should try to reply to another, more relevant comment, or keep it on your journal. Albeit I'm somehow agreeing with you. | | (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread) |

| It's the last comment on the page; they probably intended to make a comment to the post itself but forgot to scroll up to do so and just hit the first 'reply' that they saw, simple mistake. Because it might not be relevant to 'Billy Jean', but it's definitely relevant to the ETA.
And quite true. | | (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread) |

| | Um, no one in this comm is ranting about that. Go over to childfree and rant that them. | | (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread) |
| | Read the other comments. Lots of people in the comm are, in fact, talking about it, on this post. | | (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread) |
| If Phoena gets that much pleasure out of laughing at people in paternity disputes, maybe she should start watching "Maury."
