| In the last post people were requesting a Snapefen comm, here it is... dedfromsnake
It is pretty basic and without any mods but it's there from anyone who wishes to post and/or read the Snapefen/Snapewives gibberish. | comments: Poke a delusional shipper |
| | Thanks I really think we needed this, there was just so much of it flooding through. | | (Reply to this) (Thread) |

| | Is there going to be a feed? I don't have an account here but I really enjoy following this comm via the feed. I would hate to miss out on the Snape-related wank in the new comm. | | (Reply to this) (Thread) |

| Great, somewhere specific for the sickening Snapewife misogyny.
Hope to see some more ludicrous stuff here, like the comments on the Rose/Scorpius pic. | | (Reply to this) (Thread) |

| Say, this is totally off-topic, but I don't have an account and account creation here has been turned off due to bots, so I have this question:
Does anyone here know if there was any wank over the Mugglenet book 'Harry Potter Should Have Died'?
For those unaware of what it is, it's a book Mugglenet released after the end of the series cataloging fandom debates (with arguments from each side taken from Mugglenet's own forums) and - here's the interesting part - reaching "verdict" of sorts on those fandom debates. For example, in the debate from which the book takes its title, they decide that the books would not in fact be better if Harry had died.
The reason I bring this up is that I recall some of the "verdicts" having the potential to be very wanky indeed. I just leafed through it in a Borders once, so I don't recall much of it (though I'll admit I was slightly miffed at their selection of OotP, my favorite, as the worst book), but I definitely recall them deciding that Hermione was more essential to Harry's quest than Ron, and there was something about Houses too that I thought had wank-potential (I think it might've been they decided Gryffindors are portrayed as too 'good').
Anyone know if there was any fallout from this?

| I don't know if there was a fallout, but knowing who the authors were, they may well have been half hoping for one.
They decided that the Gryffindors weren't too good, but that the Slytherins were too evil and the Hufflepuffs were too lame. | | (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread) |
| | I liked the book, but I still wonder about it considering SIP was one of the contributing authors. | | (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread) |
| | I’ve got that book (got it from Half-Price books one day). I don’t know about fallout though (I do know that SIP was one of the contributors to the actual book, so it wouldn’t surprise me if there was some wank about it somewhere). *GoogleFu* If there was wank, it doesn’t appear to have made FW or the like. | | (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread) |
