It always made me vaguely uncomfortable when she popped up in discussion. But I'm not in the fandom, so I didn't see a point in starting a whole big thing about it without firsthand knowledge of how the topic was being handled in house. It never occurred to me, either, that people might not know that name was making fun of her.
