"Idiotic" is ableist?

I think I need to learn a new vocabulary of insults. Anyone have any good suggestions for insults that hit the intended insultee but not any innocent bystanders? There's 'ass,' of course. And asshole, and the ever popular ass-noun (as in ass-canoe.) Hmm . . . Help me out here?
