Well, she sort of has a point in that not every German who lived in the WWII era was a terrible person. Most of them were just ordinary people with reasons for letting such a horrible thing happen that were more complex than just being moustache-twirlingly evil. But! That does not mean that their actions didn't harm other people or that they're somehow exempt from having to feel remorse or apologize or anything. Post a comment in response: |
