Racists? Maybe, some of them. I doubt that very many of them are, though. I think they're more likely the internet equivalent of the small brat who just discovered that he can shock grown-ups by saying "fuck." Meanwhile, we indulging them far too often by being the internet equivalent of the older, only-slightly-less-bratty sibling who responds by pointing and screaming. "Ooooh! Timmy said the F-word, Timmy said the F-word!"

At the moment, Timmy has lost his treehouse and is throwing a temper tantrum. Some older siblings might be tempted to wag their fingers and tell Timmy it serves him right. Me? I just point and laugh.
