And to add to that, Amazon is really shooting themselves in the foot here. The biggest ebook publishers out there are Romance, and most of them publish LGBTQ romances. The market for it is huge. By making the Kindle unfriendly to those sub-genres of Romance they are eliminating a large portion of their customer base. Also, they are pissing people like me off who have the app, but not the actual reader. I'm not so invested in Kindle that I can't turn around and repurchase those books on Nook if I have to (if I can't just straight-up transfer the files... anyone know if this is possible?)
