	The troll actually reminds me of Izzanami and co., actually, since they all appear to aspire to newer heights of cramming so many slurs into a single sentence that it loses all meaning. This reminded me of them, too, especially the attitude palereverie seems to have that the whole Internet ought to conform to 4chan standards. Izzanami/Ravyn/Jinx were very big on insisting that their behavior was okay on LiveJournal since it was okay on 4chan. I tried explaining to them once that LiveJournal hopefully has higher standards and that they were, so to speak, coming to a fancy restaurant with their McDonald's behavior and then wondering why people were upset with them eating like a pig and talking with their mouths full. They didn't get it. I don't think palereverie gets it, either.

I think the point is to be edgy and cool. A lot of people seem to think that the way you make waves and change the world is to be as offensive as humanly possible. Yeah, you make waves, but they're the wrong kind of waves.

	Whoops cut myself off there. Also with 4chan, you don't know who you're talking to, so people can easily walk away. Whereas with LJ I don't think they realize that yes, they are in a conversation with someone and no, people don't forget they're idiots. (Reply to this)(Parent)

By extending that logic a little, I can make public copulation and defecation perfectly acceptable behavior IRL, because of more or less the same reason.
