I'm kind of feeling the same way I do when people tell me that someone getting fileted in the bullring is a tragedy.

In those cases I tend to think more something along the lines of "karma."

Killing animals so you can eat them, fine. I eat meat, so I'd be a huge hypocrite to condemn the killing of bulls.

It's the whole "repeatedly stabbing them in the spine with knives to kill them slowly and painfully for the enjoyment of the cheering crowd" part that I have a problem with.
