Also, is it just me or is the "xDD" and "<333" stuff making her apology seem so, so, SO much worse?
Not just you. My feeling is that smilies and shit are not for serious subject matter unless you are being a condescending douchebag or trying to distract everyone from the content of your post. So this basically reads to me as "OMG, you guys, can't you understand how totally not serious this is? It's all in fun! Let me show you how fun it is by adding even more heart marks so you'll stop picking on poor, cute little innocent me. Because smilies mean I am cute, see?"
