Thanks, Jim Butcher, for letting us know that we're not allowed to express anger when you insult our homes!

Apparently he got so upset by someone cursing at him that he forgot all the criticism written before and after that! He writes an awfully dark story, you'd think he'd be a bit tougher.

There are ways to discuss being offended without resorting to being crude.

If someone resorts to insults, I personally tend to stop listening. We have more words in English to use then just insults.

Butcher insulted your home. The blogger insulted him. I don't see how anyone comes out looking good in that exchange.

That, and considerably more was involved than simply 'insulting your home'. Racism is not an insult. Whitewashing an entire neighbourhood - arguably an entire city - and erasing an entire demographic (or two, or three) in your fictional world isn't an insult. It's figurative genocide.
