Now see I have had the opposite experience. I have never yet had a good experience with Game Stop, I have been ignored and or talked down to by clerks every single time I have tried to buy something from them. I've actually called corporate to complain, it was that bad. The only time I have had a good experience was one time there was a female clerk, who not only helped me find a game I was looking for but also recced a game to me that I love and would never have looked at otherwise. But other than that, I have had nothing but the Good Ol Boys Clerks Wall Of Ignoring Wimmen Who Can't Possibly Be Real Gamers By Talking Only To Each Other Until The Customer Leaves treatment, every damn time.

Fortunately there's a smaller chain here called Game Haven where they treat you like they want you to buy from them, which I do. But I won't set foot in another Game Stop without a gun muzzle in my back.
