Is Batman similarly depicted in the Catwoman issue or in the Batman issue? Shirtless scenes, a panel of his ass - something that can be easily interpreted as pandering to the female gaze?

Not that I, as a woman, don't consider Catwoman hot to look at. I just want to verify if DC's at least included some eye candy for the girls.

If Batman is similarly sexualized, then okay. But if it's only Catwoman, then (sighs) obviously DC was only thinking of what guys want.

Starfire - I barely know about the character, but I think it's safe to assume that many youngsters would only know her from the Teen Titans cartoon wherein she's clearly depicted as naive and innocent. Not only does cartoons have a much wider audience reach than comics, it also aired not too long ago, too.

So yeah, have to agree that DC wasn't thinking properly when they decide to depict Starfire as such.
