Ah, ok - all the talk about nominations kept me thinking it was an annual awards thing or something. My flist is pretty free of it, I haven't seen any mention of it so far, and now some of the fields and things that pop up when I'm uploading fic to AO3 make more sense if it's primarily for fic exchanges. I just use it to house all my fic in one spot where I can point people.
