Magically Ridiculous ([info]staroverthebay) wrote in [info]unfunny_fandom,
leandralocke presumably finds the commenter's identity, calls hir a hypocrite for past drama

Um... is it really okay to refer to the anonymous commenter as "hir"? I'm not trying to start an argument, I'm just wondering because I've seen/heard people get really up in arms over the use of that word. Wouldn't it be better to say "him or her" instead of "hir"?

As for the content of the report.... someone needs to tell this leandralocke that she's entitled to write whatever she wants for her own story, but if she's going to post it up where others can read, she has to deal with the fact that her readers are equally entitled to post their opinions of her writing and her as a writer and fan. Yes it's your story alone when you are the only one reading it. When others can access and read it and be offended by what you've written, you don't get to play the "I'm the creator so shut up and like it already" card anymore.

Some of the stuff I write for self-gratification will NEVER EVER see the light of day if I have any say in the matter, because it was written for my eyes alone.
