I wonder what they would've made of my disaffected younger prince who was adventuring in the guise of a swashbuckling woman warrior in the Utena/Rose of Versailles mold. (This was a number of years before the anime Chevalier d'Eon, although I was aware of the historical figure; the character represented my attempt to interpret J-Rock diva Mana as a fighter, a role to which I tend to gravitate in RPGs.)
