It's really disappointing how something reasonable--like not wanting men to talk over women, or white people to talk over PoC--gets used to keep people out of conversations. Like that's going to prevent anyone from being a douchebag if they want to. If the idea is to avoid pointless arguments, the only way is to not engage in arguments on the Internet. But no, lets tell people that they don't get to have an opinion.
