If every child in America bought one little pony, they would out-purchase the bronies efforts tenfold.

I know that even my sister and I, as kids, recieved Hasbro merchandise when we were kids. I got a handful of Jem toys, and my sister got a MLP (gen3, I think). We had parents on a severely limited budget (Dad was a boilermaker and Mum was a full-time mother), and those were the only toys we had from Hasbro, but Mum and Dad got them for us anyway because we loved those things.

Parents indulging their children is the one thing you can count on, come rain, snow or wind. They will spend their last dollar making their kids happy. Archaeologists often find toys in digs. So, you know, getting kids toys has been happening for millennia.

Bronies digging ponies is a quirky internet phenomenon with apparently highly volatile returns. We can guess which Hasbro will depend on.

/preaching to the choir.
