Lessons from bronies: Removing ableist stereotypes is intolerant!
Remember the backlash when an episode of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic portrayed fan-favorite Ditzy/"Derpy" as "humorously" mentally challenged? Well, the concerns were heard, and the voice changed!

Aaaaand now some bronies are crying "ruined FOREVER!". To the tune of "not liking our insensitivity is intolerant!"

So, everyone who can now watch the clip without cringeing, you're harshing someone's squee, and that's terrible.

I came across a few references on Twitter about the Bronies being upset about something regarding their beloved Derpy Hooves and went searching for the wank and finally found it over here. Has the Fandom_Wank community been abandoned? It seems like hardly anything has been posted there for the past several months.

	F_W hasn't been abandoned (IMO); it's just that many recent wanks have had some element that's not merely wanky but offensive. So they get posted here instead. (Reply to this)(Parent)

Holy crap. I got behind on new episodes and hadn't seen the actual scene. The second one still makes me uncomfortable but at least she seems closer to "clumsy and well-meaning" than "complete stereotype of someone with a cognitive disability", and it make Rainbow Dash seem much less of a bully (Dash is a little bit of one, but at least in the first season it was well-tempered with her good points. Nearly all the characters seem flattened this season).
